Clinical breast exams every one to three years beginning at age 20 and yearly mammograms and clinical breast exams beginning at age 40 and continuing for as long as a woman is in good health.

First off, thank you to everyone who has supported Babes for the Cure over the years. Whether you made a pledge towards a team member, joined the team, sponsored the team, or just sent well wishes. I speak for everyone who has been in Babes for a Cure in saying, thank you so much for your continued support and generosity. It means a lot to each and every one of us.

How can you support the team this year? There are so many ways. The first way is to join us at the National Race for the Cure. We are always open to new members, so long as you know someone who is already on the team. Check out our join page to find out why being a Babe is a great idea as well as how to register to be a part of our team.

Another great way to support the team is through a pledge. Whether it is to a particular team member or the team as a whole, your donation means so much to us. It brings us one step closer to finding a cure for breast cancer as well as boosts the motivation and morale of the team. The more and more donations we receive from our friends, family, and coworkers, the more motivated we become to raise even more money and awareness for breast cancer.

We currently cannot accept donations for the race until April 2009, but you can support our efforts in our fall fundraiser, Girls' Night Out.

Lastly, if you are affiliated with a business, the team would appreciate your support through sponsorship. Check out our sponsor website to learn how you can partner with Babes for a Cure this year.
